Personal Life

I’ve had a few career changes in my life.

In my first 4 year career I was a drummer in the Embraceables, a rock band, in New Jersey; with our longest gig on the boardwalk, in the Chatterbox, at Seaside Heights, N.J.

Then I spent 4 years enlisted in the Navy and attained the rate of 2nd Class Petty Officer before obtaining my Honorable Discharge to pursue my civilian life.

After obtaining my B.S. in Biology at FDU, I was a Research Scientist at Shering Plough Pharmaceuticals testing potential antibacterial and antiparasitic medications.

I then went to Medical school and became physician; went through 4 years of speciatly training and became a Board Certified Psychiatrist. I then joined the faculty at USF Medical School seeing patients, teaching, and eventually retired during my tenure as the Director of Clinical Services for the Department of Psychiatry and Neurosciences. I am currently an Emeritus Professor at USF.

I am now happily married to Susan. We have two grown children, both of whom we are proud. I thoroughly enjoy my retirement which includes coaching others to make the necessary changes to experience a comfortable, well balanced life.

Personal Retirement Coach

I am an Emeritus Professor at the University of South Florida and now own my own Personal Coaching business. Even though I can and do coach anyone on virually any life issue with which they are struggling, my specialities include coaching retired and soon-to-be retired individuals to make successful transitions from their demanding work lives to happy, well balanced retirement lives. I also coach individuals who are contemplating making a change in their careers.
